DECLARATION

In consideration of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited’s (hereinafter referred to as the "Bank") agreement to accept my request for it to send my monthly Credit Card statements to my aforesaid e-mail address , I hereby accept my credit card statements sent by the Bank via electronic mail (e-mail) or other means of transmission as authentic. I further agree and acknowledge that the Bank does not warrant against any external factors affecting the privacy and/or security of e-mails during internet transmission. I also agree to keep the Bank indemnified against all actions, proceedings, liabilities and claims, cases, damages, cost and expenses in relation to or arising out of the Bank agreeing to send my credit card statements to my e-mail address.

I also authorise the Bank to add, discontinue or vary these terms from time to time without prior notice to me. I assure unto the Bank that I shall inform the Bank in writing or call the Bank's customer service telephone number as set out on the reverse of my credit card, of any change in my e-mail address or any request for discontinuation of this facility. I further expressly agree and acknowledge that the Bank shall not be liable or responsible for data corruption, delay and/or interception of the information so given. I declare and confirm that this declaration shall be treated as or deemed to be an integral part of the Credit Card Agreement that I have executed with the Bank and I understand and agree that all other terms and conditions of the Credit Card agreement shall be applicable and shall remain in full force and effect.
